Wine voucher gift cards can be purchased online from a number of different wine retailers in the UK. Things you need to be mindful of are: i) How long the gift card vouchers are valid for;  ii) Where the retailers delivery wine to and iii) How much they charge for delivery. Wine voucher gifts can be used on anything on the Savage Vines website. We have over 300 organic wines to choose from along with mixed cases of wine, glassware, wine subscriptions and more.

The most popular wine to send as a thank you gift is a bottle of Champagne or red wine from Bordeaux. If you are unsure what type of wine the recipient likes to drink then the best option is to send them a wine gift card. This way they can choose the type of wine they prefer and get it delivered at a time that suits them.

There’s no expiry date on our Wine Gift Card Vouchers. Recipients are free to use them when they are ready.

On the checkout page you can either select for the wine e-gift card to be emailed to yourself (to print off and put in a card) or have it emailed to the recipient directly.

Unfortunately this functionality is currently not built into the website. However we can process Wine Gift Cards for you in bulk saving you the hassle. Please email [email protected] and ask us to send you the bulk wine gift card template. We will email you a spreadsheet template to populate and once you send it back we can create the Wine Gift Cards for you and then just send you a link to pay once.

Savage Vines wine gift card vouchers start at £10 and go up to £500. Recipients can use a combination of wine gift card voucher credit and additional card payment if they want to purchase something which costs more than the wine gift card value.

If you misplace or can’t find the PDF gift notification for the wine subscription you can download it again from your account. Once logged in head to your account page and then select orders. From there you can see your order history and if you open each order you will see a link to download the gift notification again as a PDF. From here you can either print it out or forward it on in an email. An example of what it looks like can be seen here.

We leave that up to the recipient. Once you send or give them their gift notification PDF they are provided with instructions on how to redeem their wine subscription gift. When the recipient activates it one of the process steps allows them to choose their wine preferences. They can select to receive all red wines, all white wines or a combination of both.

No, this is a one-time purchase. You pay for the entire length of the gift wine subscription up front, let the lucky recipient know, then they manage it from there. No further funds are taken from your account.

Orders going to Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands incur greater delivery charges. Due to the cost of this we don’t offer them as part of the subscription service.

The majority of our wines are although not all. If they are not certified they will still be practicing methods which are considered biodynamic or organic. Every month we will send you a selection of different wines in line with what you selected. For instance, if you select to receive 4 wines a month and your wine preference to be white wine then we will send you 4 different white wines a month. If you selected 6 wines a month and opted for a mixed wine preference then we would send you 3 white and 3 red wines. You will never receive the same wine within a 12 month period as we are always bringing in new wines for you to discover.

Savage Vines delivers all over England, Wales and Scotland. We use DPD as our courier who will provide you with a timed delivery slot once they have collected your order from our warehouse.

If you select the Standard Delivery option at checkout which is £4.95 we will deliver your order within 3 working days. If you select Next Day Delivery at checkout which is £7.95 we will deliver your order next working day as long as you order before 12pm. If you miss the 12pm cut off it will arrive the following working day.
