Domaine Baumann-Zirgel are situated in a small town in the wine growing region of Alsace in France called Mittelwihr.
The family Baumann-Zirgel family cultivate 11 hectares of organic vineyards and produce high quality, hand crafted sparkling and still wine.
Valerie and Benjamin have the belief that excellence can only be achieved with respect for the land, its terroir, its vines, its wine and the health of all of us.
As a winemaking family it is imperative for them to protect the ecosystem and biodiversity and recreate environmental balance.
Baumann-Zirgel Pinot Gris is a rich and decadent white wine that presents a slightly off-dry character due to a touch of residual sugar.
Baumann-Zirgel Pinot Gris has strong notes of orchard fruits, particularly apple and pear. Then, you’ll get whispers of peach, butter, smoke and even fainter still, brown sugar.
Baumann-Zirgel Pinot Gris is a real delight and we can’t recommend it enough.

Delivery: We deliver to UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands) using DPD Local for £4.95. We will dispatch the Baumann-Zirgel Pinot Gris on a next working day service so it will be delivered within 3 working days of purchase. DPD will email you a tracking reference once they have picked up the order items from us and provide you with a delivery slot for the following working day. Yes. Select the bottle of wine you want to send as a gift and then on the checkout page mark the order as a gift. Once you do this a text box will appear where you can enter in your gift message. Note we do not include any pricing information with the delivery of the wine so the recipient will not know how much the bottle of wine gift cost.

Discounts prices are available to all active subscribers and wine club members. Simply purchase a monthly wine subscription or join the wine club and the discounted prices are applied automatically to all future orders.

In the monthly wine subscription, you receive a monthly delivery of wines curated by our sommeliers, based on the type preference you select (red wine, white wine or both). This helps subscribers to discover new styles and varieties, which you wouldn’t normally come across or buy. Wine club members pay a selected amount into their wine club account every month. We don’t deliver any wine to them until they place an order for the specific wines they chose using their account balance. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. Both monthly subscriber and wine club members receive discounted prices on all orders.

We endeavour to source wines from small family-operated vineyards, who are either certified organic, bio-dynamic, or working towards this. All certified organic wines will be labelled as such, in our online store. Currently, 85% of the wines we sell are certified organic so there plenty to choose from. If you head to the menu on the website select Wine Method / Organic Wine and that will show you all the wine in our shop which is certified organic.

There are multiple options for delivery. The cheapest option is our 3 working day delivery service which is £4.95. DPD is our preferred delivery partner who will provide you with a live tracking link and delivery window once the item/s have been collected from our warehouse. Returns
Savage Vines has a 30 day returns policy. If you are unhappy with an item or have changed your mind you are able to return the product to us and we will offer a substitution or process a full refund. Please email us [email protected] or call 0204 501 8436 and we will be happy to help.
