Grown nearby at Clayhill Vineyard in Essex, Blackbook chardonnay is hand-picked and hand-sorted in the vineyard. The grapes travel the short distance to their Urban Winery in Battersea and are whole bunch pressed into Burgundy barrels where they undergo natural fermentation. The wine matures a further 7 months in barrel with frequent lees stirring. Our chardonnay is rounded and soft, packed with citrus fruit and spice. Unfined and unfiltered.
