Cantine Horus is a small organic vineyard located in the most southern wine region of Italy, Sicily.
They have been producing wine here since the 1970’s and have farmland covering 100 hundred hectares, of which thirty are cultivated with vines and the remaining land features almond and olive trees.
Cantine Horus maintain high standards for production and respect for environment and surrounding landscape by promoting eco-friendly long-term viticulture which make them stand out.
Cantine Horus Grillo is made from 100% Grillo grapes which are native to Sicily. In your glass, the Cantine Horus Grillo is straw white with sage green reflections.
On the nose you can expect Cantine Horus Grillo to deliver a fresh bouquet with notes of white pulp fruits, peach and hints of citrus flowers.
In your mouth the Cantine Horus Grillo will be round and fresh whilst being very mineral and almost savoury.
Pair with: first courses of fish or gourmet sandwiches. Recommended along with vegetarian dishes.

Yes. Select the bottle of wine you want to send as a gift and then on the checkout page mark the order as a gift. Once you do this a text box will appear where you can enter in your gift message. Note we do not include any pricing information with the delivery of the wine so the recipient will not know how much the bottle of wine gift cost.

Discounts prices are available to all active subscribers and wine club members. Simply purchase a monthly wine subscription or join the wine club and the discounted prices are applied automatically to all future orders.

In the monthly wine subscription, you receive a monthly delivery of wines curated by our sommeliers, based on the type preference you select (red wine, white wine or both). This helps subscribers to discover new styles and varieties, which you wouldn’t normally come across or buy. Wine club members pay a selected amount into their wine club account every month. We don’t deliver any wine to them until they place an order for the specific wines they chose using their account balance. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. Both monthly subscriber and wine club members receive discounted prices on all orders.

We endeavour to source wines from small family-operated vineyards, who are either certified organic, bio-dynamic, or working towards this. All certified organic wines will be labelled as such, in our online store. Currently, 85% of the wines we sell are certified organic so there plenty to choose from. If you head to the menu on the website select Wine Method / Organic Wine and that will show you all the wine in our shop which is certified organic.

There are multiple options for delivery. The cheapest option is our 3 working day delivery service which is £4.95. DPD is our preferred delivery partner who will provide you with a live tracking link and delivery window once the item/s have been collected from our warehouse. Returns
Savage Vines has a 30 day returns policy. If you are unhappy with an item or have changed your mind you are able to return the product to us and we will offer a substitution or process a full refund. Please email us [email protected] or call 0204 501 8436 and we will be happy to help.
