Winemaker Daniel Haegi began making wine in 1985 and is the 3rd generation Haegi to make wines on this tiny farm in Mittelbergheim, Alsace. Production is very small, less than 6,000 cases per year in total. Grapes are organically grown with a great respect to native and traditional methods.
Elaborated with 100% Pinot Noir grapes produced in the Methode Traditionnelle style where the secondary fermentation (to produce the bubbles) takes place in the bottle. This Rose Crémant is the speciality of the Domaine. Expect delicate bubbles, raspberry aromas, fleshy and fruity palate with a minerally fresh finish.
Pair with: as an aperitif, or with soft cheeses or red fruit desserts.
We also sell Haegi’s Cremant D’Alsace Brut, Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir.
