- We will email a gift certificate to print off or email directly to the recipient after your order is placed. Please select your preferred option via the checkbox before adding the gift wine subscription to your basket.
- We will not start the gift wine subscription until someone activates it as we need to confirm the recipients preferred style of wine, most convenient delivery address and preferred delivery day.
- On the PDF notification it includes all the instructions on how they can activate their subscription.
- When the recipient activates their wine subscription gift they will be able to select their preferred delivery day each month;
- We deliver UK wide with DPD Local using their tracked and timed delivery service. The recipient will receive an email and sms from DPD once each monthly subscription has been collected from our warehouse advising them of the delivery. - Note delivery is included in the price of the wine subscription gift so the recipient won’t need to pay anything more to receive their wine.
- Our gift wine subscriptions come delivered in 100% recycled cardboard packaging and the wine bottles are protected with moulded bottle safe pulp to protect them throughout the delivery network.
- All our deliveries are insured so if on the off chance there has been damage we will replace them straight away. 99% of our wine deliveries are completed the first time without any issues.
No, this is a one-time purchase. You can pay for the length of the subscription up front, let the lucky recipient know, then you don’t have to worry about it anymore.
Orders going to Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands incur greater delivery charges. Due to the cost of this we don’t offer them as part of the subscription service.
We recommend you use a local business in the area unless you plan on purchasing a lot of wine to make it viable. Alternatively, you can sign up to the Savage Vines wine club and use store credit to make larger purchases, (at the subscriber discount rate), in order to negate the high delivery costs.

Savage Vines gift wine subscription is very popular as it easy to purchase and send to your wine loving family and friends. You can generate a custom gift message for the recipient and you can choose to either print off and put in a card or send the gift notification via email directly to the recipient.
You can leave a customised gift message for the recipient of the gift wine subscription on the product page. This will be displayed on the PDF Gift Notification which we send you / them once the purchase is confirmed.
When you purchase a gift wine subscription, we generate a personalised printable gift certificate for the recipient. On the gift wine subscription product page you can select for this to be emailed to you to print off or we can e-mail it to the recipient directly. Either way, your order confirmation will contain a copy of this PDF as an attachment.
