Tenuta Arabona – Trebbiano D’Abruzzo ’19
Tenuta Arabona has been a farm since 1727, when it used to specialise in olive oil. Wine-making became the focus in the late 1960s and we couldn’t be happier. They converted to organic farming in 1991. They then went on to formally found ‘Tenuta Arabona’ in 2006. To this day, the family-owned farm covers around 20 hectares of vineyards, with a further 1.5 hectares dedicated to the historic olive groves. The vineyards cover roughly 20 hectares and all the organic grapes are harvested by hand.
Manus Plere – Trebbiano D’Abruzzo hits you as a white wine which is full of white peach, lemon and green apple flavours with a nice balancing acidity. Perfect for a summer day.
Pair with a nice piece pan fried fish or a percorino cheese.
This is a standard 75cl bottle of certified organic red wine which contains alcohol. By purchasing this product you confirm you are over the age of 18 years old, will recycle the packaging and care about the environment.

The Tenuta Arabona vineyards are situated in the hills of Santa Maria Arabona, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The hills share their name with a 12th century abbey, which gives the vineyards its name. This overlooks sprawling green mountains, olive trees and quaint farmhouses. All set in the background of the imposing Majella mountain, (part of the Apennine Mountain ranges).

In the monthly wine subscription, you receive a monthly delivery of wines curated by our sommeliers, based on the type preference you select (red wine, white wine or both). This helps subscribers to discover new styles and varieties, which you wouldn’t normally come across or buy. Wine club members pay a selected amount into their wine club account every month. We don’t deliver any wine to them until they place an order for the specific wines they chose using their account balance. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. Both monthly subscriber and wine club members receive discounted prices on all orders.
We endeavour to source wines from small family-operated vineyards, who are either certified organic, bio-dynamic, or working towards this. All certified organic wines will be labelled as such, in our online store. Currently, 85% of the wines we sell are certified organic so there plenty to choose from. If you head to the menu on the website select Wine Method / Organic Wine and that will show you all the wine in our shop which is certified organic.
