Mario Giribaldi and his family started organic grape growing back in 2001, obtaining their organic certification in 2004. This makes them one of the first organic wine producers in Italy. For Mario and his family, making wines in a bio-dynamic way is a lifestyle. They continue to produce high quality wines, searching for authenticity, determined to make their wines as a true reflection of themselves, the area in which they live, with respect to the flora and fauna.

Mario Giribaldi Calupo Dolcetto D’Alba is a refined, ruby red wine. After 9 days of maceration, 2 months in oak and 6 months in the bottle – the Mario Giribaldi Calupo Dolcetto D’Alba is ready for release.

The Mario Giribaldi Calupo Dolcetto D’Alba has that beautiful jewel-like ruby colour, with clear violet tones. The nose of the Mario Giribaldi Calupo Dolcetto D’Alba shows more notes of violet and ripe black fruit. The Mario Giribaldi Calupo Dolcetto D’Alba then has a structured finish, with more strong fruit flavours. This includes sweet black plums, blackberry, then just a tiny hint of spice in the form of liquorice.
