Niepoort 10 Year Old Tawny Port was described as the benchmark for 10 Year Tawny Port by James Suckling. A decadent blend of ten vintages. Tawny ports are aged through small wooden casks, for prolonged periods, giving them the distinctive Tawny colour.
Complex aromas of dried apricots, crystallised tangerine peel and almonds will be instantly detectable. Then, the palate reveals dried fruits and a fiery spirit finish. Further notes of orange, lemon peel, toffee, caramel and honey only further add depth and complexity, creating a truly hedonistic taste.

The Niepoort family are one of the most outstanding producers of Port in Portugal.
While they are one of the true bastions of this style of fortified wine, in their own words they want to remain a ‘niche player’. This means that they look to produce distinctive and innovative Port wines. Ports that remain true to the classic style of Port, but look to create something genuinely unique for the consumer as well.

The Niepoort family have run their independent family-run business since 1842. Over these five generations, they’ve both honed their skills and become one of the most outstanding producers of Port in Portugal.

In the monthly wine subscription, you receive a monthly delivery of wines curated by our sommeliers, based on the type preference you select (red wine, white wine or both). This helps subscribers to discover new styles and varieties, which you wouldn’t normally come across or buy. Wine club members pay a selected amount into their wine club account every month. We don’t deliver any wine to them until they place an order for the specific wines they chose using their account balance. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. Both monthly subscriber and wine club members receive discounted prices on all orders.

Returns
