Winemakers’ Klara Mittruecker and Simon Mueller-Oswald are in their late twenties and love making Pura Vida wine as much as travelling the world. They focus on producing high quality wine from their family owned vineyard located in the Rheinhessen wine region in Germany.
Pura Vida Sauvignon Blanc is an organic white wine, which is a wonderfully tropical style of Sauvignon Blanc that is world’s apart from the citrus heavy and sometimes austere German Riesling.
Pura Vida Sauvignon Blanc delivers big on zesty notes of grapefruit and bitter lemon. Then, the Pura Vida Sauvignon Blanc’s tropical nature comes through big on the palate. You’ll detect pink grapefruit, alongside lychee and passion fruit.

We deliver to UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands) using DPD Local from £4.95. Your Pura Vida Sauvignon Blanc will be delivered within 3 working days of purchase. DPD will email you a tracking reference once they have picked up your order from us and provide you with a delivery slot for the following working day. Yes. Select the bottle of wine you want to send as a gift and then on the checkout page mark the order as a gift. Once you do this a text box will appear where you can enter in your gift message. Note we do not include any pricing information with the delivery of the wine so the recipient will not know how much the bottle of wine gift cost.

Discounts prices are available to all active subscribers and wine club members. Simply purchase a monthly wine subscription or join the wine club and the discounted prices are applied automatically to all future orders.

In the monthly wine subscription, you receive a monthly delivery of wines curated by our sommeliers, based on the type preference you select (red wine, white wine or both). This helps subscribers to discover new styles and varieties, which you wouldn’t normally come across or buy. Wine club members pay a selected amount into their wine club account every month. We don’t deliver any wine to them until they place an order for the specific wines they chose using their account balance. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. Both monthly subscriber and wine club members receive discounted prices on all orders.

We endeavour to source wines from small family-operated vineyards, who are either certified organic, bio-dynamic, or working towards this. All certified organic wines will be labelled as such, in our online store. Currently, 85% of the wines we sell are certified organic so there plenty to choose from. If you head to the menu on the website select Wine Method / Organic Wine and that will show you all the wine in our shop which is certified organic.

There are multiple options for delivery. The cheapest option is our 3 working day delivery service which is £4.95. DPD is our preferred delivery partner who will provide you with a live tracking link and delivery window once the item/s have been collected from our warehouse. Returns
Savage Vines has a 30 day returns policy. If you are unhappy with an item or have changed your mind you are able to return the product to us and we will offer a substitution or process a full refund. Please email us [email protected] or call 0204 501 8436 and we will be happy to help.
