Château d’Esclans is situated in the heart of Provence, just north east of the scenic St. Tropez. Sacha Lichine took the reins at Château d’Esclans in 2006. His vision was to innovate and create the world’s benchmark for rosé. Enter, Whispering Angel Rosé. Currently on it’s 16th vintage, Whispering Angel Rosé has become the standard for great Provencal pink.
Whispering Angel Rosé 2022 is the new vintage and it continues to showcase everything great about this wine. In your glass the wine is the classic pale Provencal pink, an enticing colour. Then, the aromas envelop you. Floral touches of rose and white blossom come through immediately, as the Whispering Angel Rosé also displays touches of fresh grapefruit rind and red berries.
The strong citric character of the Whispering Angel Rosé also comes through on the palate. Expect subtle pink grapefruit flesh, ripe strawberry, raspberry and touches of redcurrant. All of this rolls into a smooth, long finish with enough structural acidity to keep it light and refreshing.

Château d’Esclans benchmark rosé wine is without a doubt the classic Whispering Angel. It is light, with a good deal of acidity, this makes it a great pairing for salty snacks. Cured meats, cheeses and olives will all be great food pairings for Whispering Angel. We also recommend pairing Rose wine with Sushi.

Discounts prices are available to all active subscribers and wine club members. Simply purchase a monthly wine subscription or join the wine club and the discounted prices are applied automatically to all future orders.

In the monthly wine subscription, you receive a monthly delivery of wines curated by our sommeliers, based on the type preference you select (red wine, white wine or both). This helps subscribers to discover new styles and varieties, which you wouldn’t normally come across or buy. Wine club members pay a selected amount into their wine club account every month. We don’t deliver any wine to them until they place an order for the specific wines they chose using their account balance. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. Both monthly subscriber and wine club members receive discounted prices on all orders.

We endeavour to source wines from small family-operated vineyards, who are either certified organic, bio-dynamic, or working towards this. All certified organic wines will be labelled as such, in our online store. Currently, 85% of the wines we sell are certified organic so there plenty to choose from. If you head to the menu on the website select Wine Method / Organic Wine and that will show you all the wine in our shop which is certified organic.

Returns
