How To Make A Croque Monsieur | 20 Minutes

Croque Monsieur | 20 Minutes The Croque Monsieur is a cheese and ham sandwich, but it’s covered in cheese and bechamel sauce. Incredibly rich and indulgent - that’s French food at its finest. White Wine Pairing: It has to be a Riesling, and why not make it a French one? Acidic, light and it's going to cut through the rich cheesy goodness. An absolute winner. Red Wine Pairing: We recommend a Barbera. It’s nice and light so it won’t drown out the sandwich. However, acidity is the key. Similarly to Riesling, it’s going to slice through that super rich cheesy goodness and cleanse the palate slightly. A real match made in heaven.
