How To Make A St-Germain Spritz

How To Make A St-Germain Spritz | 5 Minutes The Spritz actually dates back to the 1800s, with its roots in Italy, not France. However, St-Germain liqueur only dates back to 2001 if you can believe it? So, they’ve taken the Italian backbone and thrown in a bit of French flavour. St-Germain utilises elderflowers from the Savoie region of France. The flowers are then lovingly transported by bicycle, to avoid damaging the petals which would impact on the flavour. The wonderful Art Deco style bottle would look at home in any home bar, or in the hand Zelda Fitzgerald. It's a delicious liqueur and we highly recommend picking up a bottle even if it's just to make this cocktail.
