-
Prep & Cooking Time – 10mins
-
Serves – 6 People
-
Level – Easy
- 200 grams of sliced Smoked Salmon
- 200 grams of crème fraiche
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Handful of fresh dill
- Pack of 16 cocktail blinis
- Sea salt and black pepper
-
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Then slice your lemon in half and pull the dill off the stem.
-
Step 2
Empty all of the Crème Fraiche into a medium sized mixing bowl. Then squeeze one half of the lemon juice on top of the Crème Fraiche. Add in a handful of dill on top of the mixture.
-
Step 3
Using a fork or whisk, mix the Crème Fraiche, lemon juice and dill for about 45 seconds and set to the side
-
Step 4
Place your Blinis onto the baking tray and into the oven. Put on a timer for 4 minutes
-
Step 5
Open your packet of Smoked Salmon and cut it into strips which are about 2-3cm wide and between 5-7cm long
-
Step 6
Once your timer has gone off, remove the Blinis from the oven. Place them onto your serving platter, evenly spread out. Using a small spoon scoop the Crème Fraiche mixture into the centre of each Blini, leaving a small gap between the mixture and edge of the Blini. Otherwise your Smoked Salmon Blini’s will be messy to eat.
-
Step 7
Now fold a piece of the smoked salmon and carefully place on top of the mixture. Add a small sprinkling of dill over the platter and you are done! You now know how to make Smoked Salmon Blinis!
