Negroni Sbagliato

Of all of the many Negroni riffs and variations that have been created, the Negroni Sbagliato is definitely one of our favourites. It’s a sort of Aperol Spritz/Negroni hybrid and its delicious. Easy drinking, refreshing and with bags of flavour it’s a really lovely summer cocktail. Its important to note that the flavour profile of the Negroni is one that is quite bitter so its not for every palate. Those that love the Negroni though, swear by them. Another interesting fact is that sbagliato in Italian means “wrong” or “messed up” so you’ll be drinking a messed up negroni….in our opinion this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Ingredients
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml Sweet Vermouth
  • 25ml Prosecco (or more to taste)
Method
  • Step 1

    Take rocks glass and add cubed ice. 

  • Step 2

    Add 25ml of Campari and 25ml of sweet vermouth. 

  • Step 3

    Add 25ml or more of Prosecco (this is down to your personal preference) Garnish with an orange slice.
