The Perfect Steak Recipe | 15 Minutes Steak is always an indulgent treat, but it's also surprisingly easy to recreate to a high standard at home. With steak, so much comes down to personal preference. You don't have to worry about asking for rare and it being overdone, or asking for medium and it still be bleeding.   • 15g Salted Butter
  • 2 Sprigs of Rosemary
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 250g of Your Favourite Cut Of Steak (We've chosen Ribeye)
  • Step 1

    Read here for the perfect steak recipe! First, rub salt and pepper into both sides of the steak. We chose ribeye steak.

    Add a few knobs of butter, the rosemary and whole cloves of garlic to a pan on medium heat. Cook this for around 30 seconds.

  • Step 3

    Add the steak. Then, get a tablespoon and keep basting the side facing up with the garlicky, herby butter.

  • Step 4

    For a rare steak, you’ll only need to cook it for 1 to 2 minutes a side. So, after around 90 seconds flip the steak and repeat the process.

  • Step 5

    Make sure you check the steaks by pressing down on your hand. The tip in our picture shows you how you can check to make your steak is cooked just to your liking.

    Let the steak rest for around 5 minutes after it’s finished cooking. This makes sure all the tasty juices don’t run out.
