HOW TO GET AROUND BARCELONA:

If you plan on spending some time in Barcelona then you can get about easily enough with their public transport system. Their Metro trains run right to the airport, so you can get off the plane and into the centre very easily. Single tickets go for roughly €2.20*, or you can buy a ‘HOLA BCN’ card which offers you unlimited travel throughout the city and is priced accordingly.

For the urban adventurer, you can also hire a ‘Yego’. Much like the Lime scooters in other cities across the world, however Yego is an electric moped service. It’s priced at 25 cents per minute, and is a good way to make short journeys through the city. You can literally pick them up via their app and drop them anywhere (that’s safe) when you’re done. (Check their FAQ’s for more information).
