Q: What is a Savage Vines wine gift card?
A: It is a e-gift card which you can send to someone with a personalised message and store credit loaded on it. You can choose between multiple gift themes. There are Christmas, Birthday, Congratulations themed gift cards. Within each theme you have the option of uploading your own image.
Q: How much is a wine gift card with Savage Vines?
A: Gift cards start at £10. You can select from predefined values at £10, £25, £50, £100 up to £500. You also have the option of entering in a manual amount for the value of your choice.
Q: How does the recipient receive the wine gift card once I purchase it?
A: The card is emailed to the recipient. When purchasing the gift card you enter in the recipients name, email address and personalised message. If you want to send it to them straight away then just click ‘Add to basket’ and check out as per normal. If you want to delay sending it there is a check box just above the ‘Add to basket’ button which says Postpone delivery. Click this and you can select a specific day in the future that you want it sent then click ‘Add to basket’. Alternatively you can send it to yourself, print it out and put it in a physical card. It’s up to you. See image below.
Q: Can I purchase the wine gift card now and delay sending it to the recipient until their Birthday, Christmas, Anniversary etc?
A: Yes you can. If you want to delay sending it there is a check box just above the product ‘Add to basket’ button which says Postpone delivery. Click this and you can select a specific day in the future that you want the gift card sent then click ‘Add to basket’. Alternatively you can send it to yourself, print it out and put it in a card. Q: What if I’m not sure or don’t know the email address of someone I want to send a wine gift card to?
A: Where it asks for your to enter the recipients email address enter your own. This will then send the wine gift card to your email address. Then you can print it out and put it in a card or hold on to it until you know the email address. Once you have it you can send it to us and we can re issue the gift card to them directly.
Q: If I make a mistake can I change the recipients details once I have purchased the wine gift card?
A: Sure. Just email us the changes you want and we can re-send it to the correct email address or change the personalised message. We are very flexible.
Q: How will I know my order is being processed?
A: You will receive an email from the Savage team within 60 seconds after your purchase confirming your order. If something doesn’t look right let us know straight away at email@example.com or call us on (+44) 0203 488 3249. Make sure you check your junk mail first.
Q: What can the recipient buy with a wine gift card?
A: All products and services available on our site. There is lots to choose from. Purchase a mixed case of wine, a wine subscription or even a private wine tasting! Go nuts!
Q: Where does Savage Vines deliver products to?
A: At present we deliver all over mainland UK. Therefore anyone in the UK would be able to use a wine gift card on our site to purchase wine and wine related accessories. We may deliver products outside the UK in the near future. Stay tuned.
Q: How do you redeem a wine gift card?
A: When the wine gift card is sent it will contain a unique code. The wine gift card recipient heads to our website and chooses the product/s they want to purchase from our online store. When they check out they will enter in the unique code and the gift card value will be automatically deducted from the order value.
Q: How can I pay for a wine gift card?
A: You can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express or a debit card. On checkout enter in your card details which will be validated and processed as part of the product checkout process on our website. We use Stripe as our payment gateway which is secure. Note that the postcode you enter in your billing address must match where the bank card is registered to with the bank. Otherwise it will fail our security checks and our system won’t process the order.
Q: Can I pay cash for anything?
A: Sorry, we are an online business.
Q: Is there a delivery cost added on to the price of a wine gift card?
A: No. Gift cards are sent electronically so there is no delivery cost.
Q: Can I cancel or get a refund on a wine gift card that I have purchased?
A: Of course you can. You have 30 days to change your mind from the date of purchase. If you change your mind we will process a refund for you within 30 days. We will deduct £5 from the order value as we incur charges from the banks to do this.
Q: If I didn’t receive my order confirmation what do I do?
A: Send the friendly Savage team an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will get back to you within 24 hours.
