The Angulo Innocenti Family still runs their winery. Today, the 3rd and 4th generation of winemakers, honour their heritage by producing stunning wines.

The vineyards began with Pedro Angulo and Angel Innocenti. Both were vineyard growers in their native Europe – Pedro in the Basque country and Angel in Tuscany.

Alejandro Angulo and Mariano Innocenti, 3rd and 4th generation family members respectively, have decided to celebrate Pedro & Angels vintner past with the development of a unique terroir in La Consulta, Argentina.

Angulo Innocenti’s La Consulta vineyard is on the southern end of the Uco Valley, a prestigious part of the wider Mendoza region.

Mendoza is well known for the high altitude vineyards. The altitude allows for stronger winds and lower temperatures to help mitigate the hot Argentinian weather. La Consulta is no different, with this particular area being located between 3000 and 3500 metres above sea level, in the foothills of the Andes.

Warm days and cool nights give the Innocenti wines rich concentrated flavours and suppleness, yet with a distinctive floral aromas and kicks of acidity.

They grow a number of grapes on this land, but almost 50% of the vines are made up of Malbec.
