
The Haegi Family have been in Alsace since the 18th Century. Current winemaker Daniel Haegi began making wine in 1985 and is the 3rd generation Haegi to make wines on this tiny farm in Mittelbergheim, Alsace.
At Domaine Haegi, production is very small, less than 6,000 cases per year in total. Grapes are organically grown with a great respect to native and traditional methods.
The Alsace wine region is located on the border of northeastern France, not far from the German wine region Rheinhessen.
The Alsace wine region is known for producing high quality french Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. For red wine drinkers they also make good value Pinot Noir. Then, sparkling wine fans will be sure to enjoy Crémant d’Alsace.
